Come enjoy a morning of fun and celebration in support of accessible and inclusive play at Kids Together Playground! Walk, run, or roll our beautiful one mile all-abilities route – wheelchair, stroller, bike, skate, and scooter-friendly! – a loop down the greenway, across the Hwy 64 pedestrian overpass to our water station, and back! Then, enjoy some free ice cream, live entertainment, games, activities, raffles (including a refurbished tandem bike and kids mountain bike!), vendor booths, and more! Costumes are encouraged!

WHY THIS EVENT IS SO SPECIAL
Kids Together Playground was intentionally built in line with Universal Design principles to ensure that accessible, multi-sensory, and inclusive equipment is integrated together so people of all ages and abilities can play side by side (not separately). Every year, Kids Together, Inc. — the nonprofit dedicated to supporting the playground — puts on the only fundraiser at the playground and dedicates 100% of proceeds DIRECTLY toward new inclusive equipment and features! Inclusive play isn't a one-time build, it's an evolution of inclusion year after year. To do that, Kids Together needs your support to help build the future of inclusive play! |
